Today in 1974 ABBA triumphed at the Eurovision Song Contest, held at The Dome in Brighton, with Waterloo. Agnetha, Benny, Bjorn and Anni-Frid would go on to dominate the charts, rule the airwaves and sell in excess of 350 million albums and singles.
Did you know ABBA entered the selection process to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest with Ring Ring in 1973? The song came third so never actually reached the Eurovision Song Contest.
